Baseball Training Opportunities
The listed Baseball Training opportunities have been sent to Calgary Rocky Mountain Little League (CRMLL) and are posted on our website as a training option for our members. Course outlines and contacts are believed to be accurate and reliable but cannot be guaranteed by CRMLL.

Absolute Baseball

Facility located at 2255 Crowchild Trail NW adjacent to the Vipers Baseball Park and McMahon Stadium. Ask to be put on the mailing list for future camps as well.

Coaches include U of C Calgary Dino's Head Coach AJ Fystro, Calgary Vipers Player Joe Sergent and a guaranteed low player to coach ratio.

Drop In Hitting/Pitching

Professional Hitting Instruction from 2008 GBL Rookie of the Year, 2009 GBL All-Star Colin Moro. Learn the Physical and Mental Aspects of Hitting. One on One/Small Group Instruction. All Ages, Baseball & Softball Welcome.

Professional Pitching Instruction from former Florida Marlins Pitcher and GBL All-Star Pitcher Joe Sergent. Learn Proper Pitching Mechanics and Mental Gain. One on One/Small Group Instruction. All Ages, Baseball & Softball Welcome.
 

Drop in for 1-2 hours of Hitting and/or Pitching Instruction on the dates and times listed below. Choose one hour of either Hitting or Pitching Instruction for a drop in rate of $20.00 (+tax) or stay for two full hours and participate in both Hitting and Pitching Instruction (one hour each) at a drop in rate of $35.00 (+tax).

2010 Pre-Season Spring Break Camp!!

ARE YOU READY FOR THE BASEBALL SEASON?
The Calgary Vipers and the Absolute Baseball Academy invite you to get ready for your season with the 2010 Pre-Season Spring Break Camp!!
 
Calgary Vipers All-Star Outfielder Colin Moro, All-Star Pitcher Joe Sergent, and Pitcher Jordy Alexander along with Special Guest Instructors will teach kids the fundamentals of baseball, both physically and mentally, during a week long period to help get them ready for the 2010 baseball season. During the week, they will also take the skills they have acquired and apply them to live games!

 

Skills Taught at the Camp
Hitting Mental Preparation
Fielding Agility and Strength Training (Dependent on Age)
Pitching Knowledge of the Game
Catching Fundamentals of Baseball
Base Running Introductions to Various Sports

Equipment required
Glove Athletic Supporter
Baseball Hat Jacket
Baseball Pants or Sweats (NO SHORTS) Willingness to Learn
Bat (optional) Daily Nut Free Bagged Lunch
Running Shoes (NO CLEATS)

Location
The camp will be held at the Absolute Baseball Academy & Fitness Centre (next door to Foothills Stadium).

Dates and Time
The camp will be held from Monday March 29, 2010 through to Friday April 2, 2010.
and Monday, April 5, 2010 through to Friday, April 9th 2010.
The times will be 9:00am to 3:00pm with an hour lunch from 11:30am-12:30pm.
PLEASE have your son or daughter bring a NUT FREE Bagged Lunch Monday thru Thursday.
On Friday they will be provided a free Pizza Lunch courtesy of the Calgary Vipers and the Absolute Baseball Academy.

Price
The price of the 2010 Spring Break camp will be $299.00 plus tax.
On the first day of camp, your child will receive a complimentary Calgary Vipers Hat AND T-Shirt.

Ages
The 2010 Spring Break camp is open to both boys and girls interested in improving their game and having a great time doing so. Ages 8-17 are welcome. Kids will be placed into groups based on age and skill levels so they will not be in a higher or lower skill level group compared to their ability.
